Call the dealer and ask what is needed to get the code from your particular model. Some require the radio to come out in order to get the serial number, with it they can get code from their computer. Sometimes it's on file if you contact original selling dealer, maybe code is on a decal in glove box, in owner's handbook or in fuse panel. There may also be a special procedure as well to get serial number from stereo by using the presets and this would eliminate having to remove the deck.

less antics and more information ! take it to the helpful sob that sold it to you . some times turnning the key on/off certain amount of times ,20 ? can reset codes . another manner would be to call a parts store . auto zone.com is helpful too . good luck .

the code is specific to the radio. go to a dealer with proof that you own the vehicle and they should be able to look it up using the vin number and tell you the proper procedure for entering it if it is not in the owners manual
