Some people say that their mpg goes down but i dont think it does. A cold air intake is a good idea. It is easy to install and it brings colder air into the engine. It does add more power as i can now do a burnout where i was not before. I do not know myself about mpg as i really do not drive enough to be worried. But i love my cold air intake and it make my car much quicker. The best would be injen, then AEM, and then there are lots that are almost as good. But dont spend a super lot as some on ebay are almost the same. Remember it is the filter that makes the difference. Hope that helps

Yeah I'm sure all of that scientific **** is true, however.. It does make a difference, not like a supercharger or something but still.. Should have more power because more air (denser) is getting into the engine. However, since the engine is injected with sensor for intake temp and an O2 sensor, the more air that goes in, the more fuel it needs. I think it should be about the same mil age as long as you keep your foot out of it.
