Loss of power. Increased gas and oil consumption. Excessive smoke.....is this a joke question?

Wandering idle RPM'S. Oil being sucked into the combustion chambers do to oil splash inside the valley / intake manifold, water / antifreeze leakage into the pan or externally. Unusually low intake manifold vacuum.

One of the first symptoms you will experience will be rough idleing or uneven egine speed at idle due to the Vaccume leak commonly caused by a bad intake gasket, also ,,,it will screw up the readings to the engine management computer, by causing improper fuel air ratio's.
And as the other poster suggested,,it will affect your mileage and performance.
