I've always fancied doing this. I always think there's a cosy little bed in the back somewhere. A radio and lots of books to read . A stash of lovely snacks. A little dog for company and the open road to drive on to get away on my own. If you saw me, you'd laugh at the thought of me being a lorry driver. Maybe I watch too much TV. Oh and all the lovely greasy breakfasts.

Here's one I need your help in... my trusty 1995 318ti runs well, just hit the 88,888 mile mark today - not bad for a 12 year old car.

But during idle, when the fan starts either because of the AC or the water temperature, the engine idling speed drops to about 500rpm, the engine shakes, the lights dim, then recovers back to 800rpm. Any thoughts?

The Envoy has been inthe shop 6 times in the past two weeks. A rersistor has been changed, the sytem has been recharged twice, a new program was installed. These have cost roughly $400 and know the say it is the compressor and that is going to be $1000. I find this hard to believe becuase it works great until the outside temp gets to 85, and once it drops down into the low 80's it will come back on.

My husband and I are currently stationed overseas. We just bought a new car and were told that our state of residence may require us to pay sales tax when we register the vehicle at home. I need to replace a tire on my car because it cannot be patched apparently (too close to the side wall). Tires were new in April so I do not want to buy four new ones. The tire that I buy as a replacement, is it okay to buy a similar tire as opposed to an exact match, because the tires that are on there were pretty expensive when I looked for them on the web and I would rather not spend in that range right now. If it is possible to just buy a similar tire, which specs would I definitely want to make sure were exactly the same and which ones would I have a little bit of leeway with? I have identified that my electronic flasher is in my dash behind the stereo of my 99' Pontiac Grand Am. I was not able to access it by coming up from underneath on either the driver or passenger sides. when i first got it, it was working well. but now. when i fill up my tanks. the switch is on front tank. and it takes gas from the front and the back. and when it gets to about 3/4 tank in the rear. its stops taking gas from the rear. and of course its not supposed to because the switch is on the front. MY QUESTION IS: how do i fix this problem so that when the switch is on front. it takes from the front. and when the switch is on rear it takes from rear. not from both!? please help

I received my learner's permit when I was 16 years old. I took my rode test at 17 and fell. Since then Ive been driving off and on for the past 6 years. Usually when I don't drive for a while, I get nervous, but when I drive again after, I drive regular. I finally schedule my second rode test. I started driving again about 2-3 times a week. My rode test is Sept 21. Im hoping I will pass it cause I have a job depending on it. I can drive, park, 3-point turn and all. You think I will pass.
