Some people upgrade the radio system of newer cars and trucks. This will not affect the 100.000 mile warrenty.Unless the new radio system should short out the BCM or other onboard system of your new truck. This would not be covered under your warrenty.Best of luck with your silverado.

The only parts that will have their warranty voided is the radio, speakers, and amp if equipped. If you modify the openings in the dash or the faceplate, obviously that will be voided as well.

You would be fine, the 100,000 mile warranty is power train only.
