I'm curious to know if it is common for employers to charge their employees to use the car park.

No, I don't but it's an out of town location.

Would I? No way. I work for them, and they pay me - not the other way around!

I somewhat do !!! I rather have been to work out a pal in St.Peter's medical institution Chertsey this night and the smallest selection became 2 hrs stay for £2. that doesn't even pass to the medical institution. Frimley Park medical institution is virtually as undesirable. yet once you choose for enable's say, an appointment which lasts longer than 3 hrs. you may get the cost ticket signed by artwork tension and on your return to the automobile park, the attendant will waver all rates. i exploit an identical equipment whilst driving as a Volunteer driver to the two medical institution.

It depends on location. If you're in a city where space is scarce, and therefore at a premium, the company may want to offset some of the cost onto the employee. If you're in a surburban location with large parking facilities, usually no, but it is up to the Company.

Yes i do..I work in Loughborough UK and if you park where I work its £60 per year.Almost every year the prices goes up bcoz they want to try and get you to use the bus etc, which is ok as long as the timings & fares are alright..BUT as in my case I live about 7miles from work..need to get TWO buses in each direction to reach work..it works out nearly double in cost than my car..PLUS if I used the bus I need to get up 1hour earlier & I would be home about 40minutes later ;-)

Not yet, but I can see it coming. It's a stupid thing for us as we are nowhere near any other sites that would encourage outsiders tae park in oor place. The high chiefs would see it as a money grabbing opportunity!!!

Yes.

I pay for parking at work by going into work after parking.
