Do they mean people just wheel them away without the keys? I have just purchased one of these "most stolen motorbikes in the UK" and was wondering how I can keep it safe, at home it will be in a locked garage in a very safe neighborhood, but when I go uni it is highly unlikely to be stolen but just to be on the safe side.

I have a few Dings and Chips in the fiberglass hull of my boat and am looking for a "bondo like" product to fill the holes. They don't leak but I feel as though if I don't repair them they may get worse.
Thanks

I got a job over seas and need to sell my car but I'm still paying monthly payment(2 yrs left). Do I need to pay off rest of the debt and get title and sell car( I don't' have enough to pay off all debt now) or can I just sell it at discounted to 2 years monthly payment and make the buyer take over the payment? Would the lender allow this?

I have 97 Honda Accord 6 cyl. Another car backed into the front of my car while I was parked. Their insurance paid for the repairs - cosmetic only.

My a/c is not working - hasn't been working good for a while but now it's completely dead.

My main concern right now is that there is a burning smell coming from the vents. The temp gage is normal - got a new radiator a few months ago.

What could be causing the burning smell?

Someone claimed that a freind of mine hit their car and drove away. however, she was not in the car that day, and has witnesses to prove it! Her insurance company said that the other driver of the car had plently of evidence (description and number plate!). We think that they saw her car the next day and took down her number plate thinking it was the same style as the one that hit them. Her insurance company sent her a letter saying that they were going to pay out! She is obviously arguing this tooth and nail, as she has 5 years no claim. Have any of you had similar experiences or any advice?

She has asked her insurears to send someone out to check her car, as it has no damage at all.

My 93’ Lincoln Town car is need to be work on. It has a fairly new paint job and 83, 000 miles replace engine on it. Everything works except:

1. A/C is not working because the compressor is coming apart.
2. ABS light on all the times, there is no communication from ABS Module even power sources are good. It will need to perform pin weep on module first.
3. Only driving window works. It will need Motor/Regulator assembles for right front, right rear and left rear windows.
4. Interior light are not timing out. It needs lighting module.
5. Outside key pad is corroded on inside and possible remote module is damaged.

The shop that I took to said I should sale this car instead of fixing it. He said it will cost me a lot of money to fix, and it’s still not guaranty that something else won’t go wrong. Please help me again for the advise to what to do. I didn’t get that Dodge like you all suggested, and still looking for a good reliable car that I could afford to buy.

I own a car that I recently gave to my sister for the time being. Its still under my name, but I won't be driving it anytime in the foreseeable future. My insurance on my car runs out on Aug 10th. My sister will be getting insurance on the car before she starts driving, even though the car will remain under my name.

Do I need to purchase insurance after Aug 10th even though I will not be driving the car anymore?

My fiancée and I now share a car which is insured under her name and has her name on the title. My name is NOT on the title or on the documents proving the car is insured. I obviously have her "permission" to drive this car whenever I want. I am 28 years old and my fiancée is 25.

Do I need to get insurance under my name for this car?

Any help is appreciated and thank you in advance :)

I think it's safe to assume that you're at a greater risk in a motorcycle accident then in a car accident, but how common is an accident in a motorcycle anyway? Is it less, because of the added maneuverability of a bike when compared to a car or truck? Or is it greater because of less stability? I mean, I'm going to assume that it's statistical more common to crash a car then a bike, just because there's a lot more cars on the road. But if the numbers were scaled, what would the comparison look like?

I am planning to buy a 1999 ducati Superbike750 motorcycle and the guy says that the only thing wrong with it is the fuel injectors need looking at. Once the bike gets warmed up they start to act up. Is this hard or expensive to repair and is it the fuel injectors or is it something bigger and what would be a good price for the bike?
