its the piece thats connected to the drum

my lugs are strip so i had to take off the tire and the drum all toghether what is the piece called tha is attached to the brake drum that has the groves that the studes go in (i had to replace the drum and studs cause all was stripped) just looking for the piece that attach to it

I think your talking about the brake cylinder. It is the pressurized piece that the pads are set in.

The studs are pressed into the axle hub, also sometimes called a flange. The drum slips over the studs to mate with the hub.

If you are talking about the lugs that the wheel bolts to, that is called the SPINDLE, and or HUB.
