For example I try and turn off my air conditioning on my car just a couple blocks away from my house and put the fan on high so it blows out all the cold air. Will this make my air conditioning last longer?

Not really. Any condensation that forms drips into a pan below the evaporator. It then drains onto the ground through a hose. The best way to keep problems to a minimum is to use the defroster setting periodically through the winter on newer cars and on old cars, run the AC for a bit once a week. This will circulate the refrigerant oil throughout the system and prevent the seals from leaking thus losing all your expensive refrigerant.

Yes, it will help dry out any condensation inside the ventilation duct work. this in turn will help lower the amount of mold or mildew that can build in the evaporator case and cause that musty smell when you first turn on the ac. actually, there is an after blower kit that gm makes just for that purpose. It will leave the ac blower motor running after the engine shuts off. I know there was an informational bulletin pertaining to this a few years ago.

Your condenser should just drain condensate to
the street. If it does, then good, if it doesn't the
drain tube is probably clogged.

When you stop your car, check underneath for
a small pool of water. Wait about 5 minutes before
checking.

MOst shops don't like putting in used parts. They can't make money on the part. It also means you will get no warranty. But it still may be worth a shot.

Ummm, no. I've never heard of this. The a/c system is designed to handle condensation.
