I bought a 2007 Sierra pickup 4 months ago. The truck computer tells me I am getting an average of 15.7 miles per gallon. I have 9,000 miles on the truck and most are highway. I don't "stomp" it, or "gun" it, I am just a normal driver. So can anyone tell me what I can do to the truck to improve the gas mileage without voiding the warranty?

Hi there, I recently got a new battery put in my 2001 Pontiac Grand Am car and of course, the theft lock is on now. I don't have the code to get the lock off. I called the previous owner who didn't know. I called a dealership who stated that I would have to bring it in and they could get the master code from GM. Can't I just call them for the code or is there a master code? I just don't want to have to pay to fix my radio that I didn't break!! Thanks :)

I've got a 1999.5 b14 Sentra and I'm having the hardest time trying to program the oem keyless entry remote. I did the "lock your doors, insert your key about six to eight times then wait...etc." Maybe it's the wrong type of remote? The car comes with factory keyless entry system and this problem is getting on my nerve. Any Nissan/ b14 aficionados please help!

My oldest son and daughter have not lived with us for over a year. My oldest son never changed his address on his driver's license. My daughter married and says she changed her address and name on hers. Neither of them have lived with us for well over a year. Our insurance company still shows them as licensed drivers in our household. They even show my daughter with her maiden name! We have explained time and time again that neither of our oldest children live with us anymore and we can't control whether or not they have updated their licenses. (I believe my daughter has, but know my son hasn't even though we've told him to numerous times since he moved out). Now our insurance is threatening to cancel because we refuse to pay extra for our son and daughter who no longer live with us and haven't for a long time. What do we do to fix this problem? Even if we go to another insurance company, I'm sure they will think our son and daughter are still living with us when they aren't. Grrrr!!!!

I have a 2005 mustang with the standard OEM radio installed, 4 speakers no subs or amp, I tried to install a new head unit, but when I removed the old unit I found out that the old OEM radio has 2 connectors plugged in the back of the radio, one is the big harness and the other one is a little one with 2 wires connected to it. I ordered the wiring harness and it is just one connector for the after market radio, my question is What is the other connector for? It has 2 wires connected to the end of the plug but I can not figure out what's is for.

I ended connecting the after market radio, with its respective wiring harness, everything works perfectly but only worry is that plug that it is not connected to anything. Some help please?

Ever since I bought my 2006 Jeep Wrangler last year, I have noticed black soot around the end of my tailpipe. Does this have to do with the spark plugs? Would this be covered under the warranty?

The Air Conditioner clutch on my Air Conditoner compressor keeps turning. (Of course I know its not supposed to keep turning its supposed to stay still until the A/C is engaged.)
Penetrating oil has been no help.
When the clutch starts turning this of course puts pressure on the main serpentine belt.

Any Suggestions on how to fix this?

I don't want to put another compressor on the car & I don't care if the A/C works or not.

As for recharging the system its a no go in canada unless of course you find a mechanic willing to do it ;)

I bought hubby brand new a '04 Hemi 1500 back in '04.
I think he wants it to go faster, um, yeah, it must be a man thing.
Ok, what can I do to make it go a wee bit faster for him, without voiding out the manufacture warranty?
We also have the extended warranty.

ALSO, he has the sport package with the ground effects and the tailpipe sticks out the right side.
Has anyone sucessfully made it a dual exhaust cutting it through the other side of the ground effects and how did you do it, or is there a kit for that? Pictures welcomed on how you did it.
And one more thing, I had a turbo muffler installed and when ever you stomp on it, and the RPM's lower it makes a sound as my children would say, a farting sound. What the heck is that? Hemi?
Thanks all!! :-)

Ok, so I've tried WD40 on the outside, and I crawled into the trunk from the back seet and sprayed the inside. I felt around for the inside release, but didn't find one. The darn lock wont move. What can I do besides going to the dealer to get some high priced charge for opening it?
