I know the freezing points are slightly different, but that doesn't explain the double standard to me... please explain the reasoning behind the variation. Thanks.

When i bought my car, the temp. display didn't work, the fog lights didnt work, and the antenna worked well, but then gave in. Do you think it's the fuse box, BECAUSE EVERYTHING ELSE WORKS, HEADLIGHTS, INTERIOR LIGHTS, AC/HEAT--EVERYTHING EXCEPT THOSE.... or should I just purchase all these things and replace them? If it is the fuse box, can anyone tell me the proper procedures in how to check and correct this problem within the fuse box, because i have no idea what wires go with what and how they should be joined..Plleeasse, I need help, NOW!

My ram overheats, especially when turning the A/C on. After inspecting Ive noticed a leak on the right (inlet) side of the radiator. Now I know I'll have to replace the radiator but anybody know the cause and why the A/C effects it. Is it my condensor or thermostat? Appreciate the help in advance.

A man in Best Buy told me that if I bought aftermarket head units, chances are that the head unit will not be compatible with my factory amp already built in my car. So he told me I will need to replace the speakers to get good quality audio. Is this right?

Can I just buy an aftermarket head unit without worrying about replacing my stock speakers?

...case of emergency?

Very rarely do they come down in populated areas...but once in a while...like this one...they do:

Would it be a horrible idea? I mean, if the plane lost power, it's on glide...and they don't have horns (like trains).

All the pilot would have to do would be to activate the alarm close to impact, to let people on the ground know s/he is on the way in.

I have a 1993 GMC Sonoma pickup. I just got it out of the shop yesterday. It was running fine. I was installing a new CD player today. I disconnected the negative battery cable so I would not have a short. Now my truck is not running so good. My neighbor told me that I had a skip in the engine. Does the computer have to reset itself. What could have happened to cause the skip. How can I fix it?

On larger boats/ships, there's often a round thingie on the windshield, with a non-glass center and a line (wire?) running to the center. What's that for?

I'm guessing it's a small heated area so there's always something to see through in weather?

I mean like.. I was on a walk, and I had to stop, and wait for a train. I noticed there was a louder car coming, I looked at the wheels. Thats where it was coming from, but then as the one car went away so did the noise, then I heard it again, from another car.
is there some like flat side on the wheels? lol

For example, if people are saying you should ask your Ford dealer to check your VIN to see if it qualifies for a free fuel pump replacement or whatever, can you use Carfax or equivalent to find out the same information? Or can you only get that information via a dealer?
