Trying to get a guesstimate on how much this service costs.

It can take up to 6 hours if they are having problems. Most often however you can have the timing belt off and the new one back on in around 3 1/2 hours.

should book out around 4 hrs. ithink. i have done just the belt in about 1.5 when that car was newer

it doesn't matter.... there is a book that tells you how much time it will take, and that's the labor that's charged...
