I got into an accident last week. My Honda Civic is a total loss after the collision. The person who collided with my car is at fault. Knowing how insurance companies like to lowball people, I expect that they would offer a low price for compensation. Is it possible to negotiate the compensation? Any good tips with negotiating?

I recently had my r1 engine rebuilt. Before this, my turn signal lights were working just fine. But afterwards, they no longer work. My neighbor is the person that rebuilt the engine for me. He checked the fuses and those were fine. He also checked the bulbs, and those worked fine too. Does anybody know what the problem could be?

Today I noticed that a significant amount of engine coolant is missing from the tank which means there's probably a leak somewhere. I have quite the busy schedule and loosing my car for more than a day is just not an option.

I don't know too much about engine coolant but it seems to me that water should be fine during the summer just not winter because it can freeze. Is this correct?

Also, any ideas off the top of your head where this leak might me comming from?

Followed the 10 hour break in period as described in the manual to a T. Our dealer can't do the inspection and service till next week. Can we finally ride it full throttle? Or must we wait till the inspection and oil change.

The engine is apart & Im really having a hard time cleaning the heads. Is there something that will loosen the carbon deposits & make the aluminum shine. Thanks for your help.

Well here is the scoop. The battery goes dead after a couple of hours of riding. The bike has been rebuilt and runs well. but as soon a the battery gets weak the funs over.. I wish I new more about the electrical working of a bike, I'm just itching to ride.. I've replaced the refractor and regulator with a solid state unit and have checked and confirmed that the stater is putting out juice. Things I noticed are that the main wire that runs from my battery up to my ignition gets warm to almost hot.. I've checked all my connections and believe all of the grounds. The blinkers where taken of before I owned the bike and the other day I was going to put some small LAD lights in the back but was unable to get them to work and the tail light will only come on when you step on the brake.. Not sure if wires got crossed some where's or posable a relay unit has gone bad.?? I'm at a loss of how to check. help

My 1988 camaro was making weird clicking noises while I drove, took it to the mechanic and he said I need thicker oil for it to run right. Does that sound right? And how can I tell if the oil is thicker?

Left the bike in park overnight, wouldn't crank the next morning. Hooked it up to my trickle charger and it won't take a charge. I don't have a multimeter with me, so I can't check on the voltage.

ok when i go to start my truck the lights inside come on and when i turn the key all u here is a click and the lights go off, doesn't turn over or nothin, it is a older model truck, i have changed the ignition switch, new battery, i have put a test light on the ford starter solenoid to test the ignition switch and etc.. this si where it gets interesting, when i turn the key on and all the lights go off i then put a test light on the positive side of battery and then follow the positive cable to the solenoid where i test it, on the solenoid itself positive side the test light doesn't light up, but when i put the light on the cable it lights up, but i then turn the key off and back on and all lights come on and test light works on solenoid, what is the deal, i can't get my truck to start

If you were in influenced in buying a car because you were told a warranty was available, and if you paid the dealer for a three month warranty on the day you bought the car, should you reasonably expect the warranty to be available immediately? In this case it did not go into effect until a week later, because warranty company said they did not get the paperwork and payment from the dealer until a week later, but the dealer kept telling me they sent multiple faxes and paid for the warranty? I was stuck paying to repair a major breakdown which occurred on the first day.

I bought a used car from a dealer which is missing the cover for an aftermarket radio someone had installed. So the radio is not usable and I do not even know what brand radio it is, except it says "security" and there is a red light that flashes. How can I find out what brand radio it is? Is it possible to buy a cover from the manufacturer rather than replace the whole radio?

i have a 1993 aerostar window van......for soem reason a couple of months ago the steering wheel's buttons stopped working...i now have no use of my horn or my cruise control......i checked the fuse for the horn and it is fine, i dont know what else to check and i kind of need the horn for a safety check...please help
