I suspect that someone i know is driving uninsured, does anyone know if there's a way of checking this out if i know the vehicle registration?

I got a leak in the trans right side dont know what the thing is that is leaking and the haynes manuel doesn't break it down very well.
Looks like some seal or something behind a snap ring I need a diagram of the trans to find the part. Any ideas? Thanks.

I know that JetBlue has them, and usually post's a profit but they're paying A LOT of their profit out to pay for the planes and landing fees. After they pay the bills, do they still have a strong operating profit? Sooner or later, it's probably gonna put the squeeze on them.

Im a new driver, its a lil bit hard for me to drive because I'm kind of short n cant see the road that's near in front of me, n i only used the wipers as my guide or estimation of the front of my car and how do i know the front tip of the other side meaning:(the front tip of the passenger side by estimating from my driver side when its close to another car because i almost hit another car when i tried to make a left turn and i couldnt estimate if the tip of the front in the passenger side is close).

I was told by someone that you can buy a can of clearcoat and spray it on an aluminum engine to prevent corrosion. He said to have it running while applying to keep out of moving parts. Just wondering if any mechanics out there know if it's safe for my engine? Could it heat up and damage? Would it affect the belts and other moving parts?

The train track is directly behind our home. We would like for our crossing to be a quiet zone. Is there paperwork to fill out and where do we get it? my mother has a 1991 toyota pickup truck 100 series. It is a 4wd, 4 cyl. fuel injected, 5 speed. She needs to find a fuel pump bracket for it. the Toyota dealership wants over $100 for it. SO I am trying to see if any parts websites have anything cheaper.

i want to know if i bought gears and a posi unit for a rearend on a 1984 el camino, will they also fit a 1968 el camino as well? the gears are 3.42, 26 spline and are for a 10 bolt 7.5 gm rearend....HELP!!!

i know you can change the bell housing on the standard shift cars. it appears that on the auto trans off of a 80 straight 6 the bel housing comes off. didnt know if i could change. If so know where i could get the bell housing at?

My car, a 1993 mazda 626 4cyl automatic wont shift into 3rd or 4th gear so the top speed it like 65 mph a the redline in 2cd. The hold light has flashed before but not often. Im guessing its bad but maybe its something not to bad, say a solenoid or computer problem. please help

I just recently purchased a new Chevy Aveo 5, and whenever I drive with the air conditioner on, whenever I turn it off and pull the key out of the ignition I notice that its excessively hot. Ive owned many cars and never noticed this kind of thing. Is this normal for new cars?
