30k or 50k does it really matter?

Im turning 16 soon and my parents want me to find a car . My price range is about 7 or 8 grand i was looking around maybe thinking about a 97 Riviera ,96 Lincoln mark viii coupe , Or maybe a 98 caddie eldorodo coupe. Which one of these cars is the best . or maybe suggest something else ?

My sons aged 12 & 7 both want a turn on the back of their Dad's Harley. I suspect it is legal for the 12 year old , providing he has the proper protective gear, but I think my 7 year old is too young. Anyone know ?

Suppose I stopped in another town and filled up my flex-fuel car with E85 ethanol. When I filled it up, the guage said empty. Now that I am home, I have about a half a tank and want to fill up my tank. Can I topoff my car with regular 87 octane gasoline?

I had a motorcycle accident on August 27, 2004 near Squashville Road in Saratoga County, NY. (I know - funny road to have an accident on!) I was in ICU for 2 1/2 weeks at Albany Medical Center and would like to get info whether official or not.. The state police said to go to DMV and DMV said to go to the state police. I tried to get info from local news sources and they wanted to charge me. Actually so did DMV. Is there any EASY way to get info on MY accident without having to jump through beaurocratic hoops? I even asked my insurance company, they were no help. It shouldn't be this hard.

I recently bought a '95 explorer in very good condition. I've had thorough maintenance done already including replacing the shock absorbers. The car runs great and has no mechanical problems. However, I have noticed the ride is VERY rough. I feel every little bump in the road and rough roads make me feel like I'm in some kind of mad scientist massage chair. Is it just the design of the suspension? What can I do to soften the ride? If it makes a difference, it has the towing 'package', but towing/cargo capacity is not a great concern to me.

I'm getting a cam sensor issue when I have the diagnostic run on my yukon. It runs fine but the Gas Mileage is worse than normal.
Any one else ever have this issue? Or know what could be wrong? Should the small hose that comes from the cam sensor be loose? Mine is. I've put it on tight but the check engine light is still on.

My father has 2-year-old gas in his Harley, and it sounds like crap. He's trying to run it out by using it up and adding new gas whenever he can. Is he damaging his bike? Should he just drain all the old gas out? Thanks.

cause of this? Some one told me to use W-D 40 what would this do and would it cause harm to my ignition. It's a 1995 ford contour and it just started happening about a month ago. Am i tearing up my ignition by forcing the key out.

I'm in the market for a new car, I've only previously had used cars -- either this year or last year's models. I'm wanting to go under $20,000 (and pay less than $200 per month in payments). I'm leaning towards a sedan or coupe, rather than a compact just for storage space.

What are the quality models you would recommend, both for looks and performance? When is a good date to buy? Thanks!

I'm looking to get a used sportsbike within the next 6 months and I don't know which will be best to start out with. I really like the Kawasaki Ninja 600. They're really comfortable to ride and I REALLY like the way they look. However, I don't know if it'll be a good starter bike for me. I'm about 5'5"-5'6" and weigh about 105lbs. (I'm little....I know.) I've been told to get a Honda CBR as those are "girly bikes" or to get a Suzuki Gixxer 600. Which rocket is best for a woman my size? Oh! And please don't try to discourage me from getting a bike. I'm getting one regardless so you're just wasting your time as well as mine. Thanks!!

I bought a new 2007 honda civic hybrid on may 12. I added the spoilers but they didn't have them at that time. They told me to call later.. I've calling and they keep telling me they still don't have them yet. Mad and everything 3 weeks later I came to the dealership and they told me they will get them and call me back..today 12th haven't call me.. today is one month already.... what is my right to cancell??.. I have a 2004 Cavalier with 33,000 miles on it. Ive tried to take excellent care of it, changed the oil myself every 3,000 miles and the last time I changed the oil was at 31,000 so I would think that it would have another 800-1,000 miles left before I have to change it. This is the first time I have seen the check engine light come on while driving. Just curious as to if anyone has any speculations as to what the problem could be with a 2004 Cavalier / 33,000 Miles.

I dont know if it happens while i am driving, but when i parked my car last night, i quickly floored it a couple times. when i did this, a bit of black smoke came out the tail pipe. I dont know why this would be...almost everything under the hood is new...plugs, wires, cap and rotor, oil, sensors, gaskets...i use fuel inj. cleaner every so often. The only thing left is the fuel pressure regulator, but i dont know how to test it. Does that seem like it could be the culprit? or does it sound like something else? thank you

Wow so my truck stalled out one night.. it cranked back up, but the engine was very shaky and jerky. The RPMs were revving by itself, and the gears were jerking. Well I had it towed to a Dodge dealership... 3 WEEKS AGO..

Week 1- They said it was the spark plug wires, would get some new ones, and it'll be ready

Week 2- Nope, this week it's the camshaft thats locked up, and it's running on 3 cylinders. They sent an oil sample to the factory, and would let me know a day later. Didn't hear anything!

Week 3- I called today.. and the lady said the guy was pulling down the left valve covers.

WTF is going on?? What do I do? Its been 3 weeks

I have a couple of very small car parts that need painting before I fit them. I don't really want to payout for a bodyshop to paint these if I can avoid it as would cost way to much, and for the size isn't hardly worth it. Do you know any kind of cheap services/companies online that you can send off parts for painting cheaply?? (They are so small I could post easy)
