I have driven only 2, to be honest. But to be called a luxury car, the ones I drove had hard, uncomfortable seats, very plain interiors, rough rides, and loud road noise/acceleration. Not what I expected in a luxury car. So, what makes them so desirable? Thanks for your input

In an emergency, when the APU is turned on, is it designed to give the aircraft some thrust or purely for power?

my friend has a car system that he knows can go over the legal limit for sound. he said they have a limit not just for disturbance reasons but because if the sub is loud enough it can actually make your heart skip if your riding inside. is it true.

I see the Nissan Sentra is pretty cheap. I can pick up a used one with recent year and relatively low mileage for around 4K. But are they reliable as some of the other imports. Also I was told Nissans use cheaper interior materials.

With all the traffic congestion I run into all the time, it would seem to me that one inexpensive way to inprove the traffic flow would be to have more lanes on the same pavement width, IOW narrower lanes and illimate 1 of the shoulders. Paint & Botts Dots are a lot less expensive & faster to complete than building or widening roadways. If there are 3 lanes, narrowing them & using one of the shoulders, then restriping the road way to make 4 or 5 lanes is an almost immediate 33 to 66% increase in the road capacity.
Why is the standard lane with 12 feet? why not 9 or 10? Anyone know of any common 12 feet wide vehicles?
Maybe one 12 feet wide lane for trucks & the rest 9 feet?
My thought is that with a 48 foot road surface, there could be between 4 (12 foot lanes) or 5 (9 foot lanes) or even 6, if you illimate one of the shoulders, and with all the traffic congestion, 5 or 6 lanes is better than 4. Any one elses thoughts on this?

Just assembled a New Scooter. Had a little help. Charged the Battery. Turned the key and can't get nothing, not even kick start. What could be the problem? I saw my helper trying to kick start it without the battery being installed. The engine does not even try to turn over.

I know the car dealer makes a commission on the note. But I don't know how much that is. Is it commonly a percentage, or a flat fee, or what?
