Derbi makes an awesome 50 and 125 sport bike.

I mean "street legal" I know they are going to 4 strokes in motocross and the offroad world, because of the emissions. I figured they would be banned on the street, not sure though.

In South Africa 2 Stroke bikes are still legal and still for sale.
The trend is slowly moving over to 4 stroke machines.
People are worried that you won't get spares for the motors but the agents are compelled to keep a stock for the next ten years after the model stops being made.
I know the 2 stroke boat motors are becoming a problem and banned from certain area's.
It will still be a while before they start with road going items over here.
I am a 2 stroke fan and always will be!

If you mean legal in the US - yes they are legal. Yamaha makes and sells 2 stroke scooters and they are completely legal.
2 stroke street bikes from years ago are still street legal.
The government has been mulling over whether to ban 2 strokes on the street, so the major manufacturers have been slowing down the production of 2 strokes in anticipation of the ban.
As of today, 2 stroke bikes are still legal on US roadways.

Yeah, I still see some Yamaha RD's and RZ's on the road from time to time.
