My cooling fan has never come on. I tested the circuit by jumping the cooling fan switch wires and the fan does work. However it has got hot enough idling in traffic that the idiot light comes on, but not the fan.

Do these cooling fan switch's go bad? Could it have scale built up and would cleaning it help?

I have seen discussions on some other motorcycle forums that makes me wonder if this is "normal" on Triumph triples.

Any one have a relevent experience they could share?

the 2 back windows no longer go up or down. the motor wirrs away but the windows go nowhere and i can easily push the windows up or down. ( BAD if a crook finds this) so a neighbor told me it must be a belt or something came off the track. so...how do i get i to fix it?

I've got a 2002 honda civic with 130,000 km on it. I plan to continue using it till it's dead, though I hope it never dies, ever.

I'm considering a roadtrip of 2000km in the next month.

We've got a baby that we'll be bringing (not sure if that would be a factor, but we'll be using our own car seat either way)

Should i rent a car or just use my own?

My transmission Shift link is broken. I called the dealer and they are charging me 140 bucks for that part, I have a 97 thunderbird. Is that accurate pricing or am i getting ripped off? The part doesn't look like it would cost more than 40 bucks. What do you all think?

when I first take off in the morning acceleration is fine for about 5 minutes.After that it lurches when I step on the gas.At a steady speed it is fine.It will do this for about 15-20 miles then it stops lurching.It's still hard to accelerate and the gas pedal seems stiff(maybe that's just me).the engine has to work harder though to keep a steady speed .Rpm's are steady when it is lurching.

My car recently shot up to the red zone in temp. So we checked the fuses and one for the heat/ac was blown. (course car has no leaks in radiator and has plenty of fluid) so we bought a new fuse (25amp) put it in and it blew again. we unplugged the heater blower and put a new one in and it still blew. unplugged the radiator fan as well and it blew again. so we put in a new Thermostat and plugged everything back in. Im out of amps so I cant test it but I drove it round town and it still go hot (this time not all the way to the red zone)
Does anyone have any suggestions on whats going on? because I just drove this car across country and it was fine. now 2 weeks later this happens? Any ideas?

I replaced a cross flow fluepipe between the 2 rear carby's. It all went well and started easy, however once it has warmed up after riding for a while, it idles at about 3000rpm. If I turn it off and leave it for about 10-15 mins it returns to normal, them idles high again after riding for a short time.

Following the instruction, I added a can of 134a refregerant into my 1999 Cadilac Catera when the engine and AC are running. But the AC is still very weak. What are possible problems?

A repair shop did it for me twice before and strong cooling effect did last several months.

I have a 1999 Altima I just bought and I need to reset the alram because the original owners said the alram kept going off and I think I need it back on to use the remote to unlock the doors. I bought a new remote, but it does not work. The red LED stays on in the car all the time. It does not flash like the newer cars do. I do not know if it is suppose to flash or not. Bottom line, I just want the remote to unlock the doors. I really do not care about the alarm, unless, it has to be on to use the remote. I have the instructions for the new remote, but it will not get pass the first step and I think the alarm thing is my problem. I am sure the remote is OK. Does anyone know the answer to these questions? Thanks all!
