I know this seems like a simple question.....but I've never really known how they do it.

Is there a small side-wheel that they use in the cockpit?
Do they steer with the rudder pedals?

Thanks.......

Why is it that people are so mean to individuals they can clearly see needs a seat, talking about pregnant women, being newly pregnant myself most mornings I am unable to get a seat on the subway allot of individuals they look at u then your belly u your belly is as if they are trying to figure out weather its worth giving up their seat on the train. To all the people who find it to hard to give their seat up, one day u gonna need someone to be kind to u and it might be that once pregnant woman u refused the seat on the train. Be kind it just takes a heart beat.

I have a 1966 Mustang with a 289 and i have a little problem with it. Everytime i turn on the engine I would have to rev it up a little for five minutes until it warms up because if I leave it at idle the engine turns off, But when the engine warms up the engine runs smoothly and normal at idle. My friends 80's Blazer also does the same thing on his. What could be the problem? What could i do to fix this little problem? Any suggestions?

Im thinking about getting a PT Cruiser. Its the Touring Edition. Its rather nice, but I know nothing about Chryslers. I drive a 92 Toyota. It is a 02 with a little over 54000 miles on it. Are they good cars? Do they last long? Should I go for another Toyota?

Can someone settle an argument between me and my brother?
At a crossroads where two side roads directly opposite each other join a main road, does the car turning right or left have right of way over one going straight over junction. Alternatively if both are turning right/straight does the person who got to the junction first have right of way. I have asked a number of people and keep getting different answers

It's a 4 lane street, divided by a median. There are cables running across it, each end attached to something the size of a cable box. I thought they might be some kind of sensors, since they are close to a traffic light, but then why would they go all the way across the street? Any ideas?

I made a habit of refilling the fuel tank on my car at halfway. Does it actually make a difference in performance or fuel efficiency?

I drive a 2001 Honda CRV and I don't know why but every time I turn on the A/C it takes at least 5 minutes for it to cool down. At first the air is so hot that its almost impossible to sit in the car. does anyone know what I might do to fix this? I'm a college student so I don't have a lot of money right now to replace parts or anything like that. thanks :)

No helmet law for CT but there is for surrounding states. Anyway I've seen a few people riding around with their helmet firmly attached to the side/rear of their bike. They were going a little to fast for me to get a good look at what the fixture was though.

All the helmet locks I've seen attach with either a cable, or to the D-ring. A helmet would flop around while trying to ride with either of those; they are just for attaching your helmet while not riding.

So I'm looking for some sort of apparatus that will hold a helmet perfectly still while riding, and obviously not get in the way of operating the bike.
