bryan, a 5.9l is a 360!
Well, if you have experience pulling motors and modifying cars, it will be easier. the engine bay on a dakota is retarted huge! thats why i buy the older ones, sooooo easy to work on. but if you have never pulled a motor then put one in, then just be ready, it isnt as easy as unbolting a few things then yanking, droping one in, and off you go. but as far as trans, get a 46re trans, one of the bigger chrysler transmissions, that is what they put behind the 5.2L like in my truck, at least most of them, also, since the 5.9L is the EXACT same block as a 5.2L, then the trans(46re) will mount up perfectly. no idea on wiring, good luck!

3.9, 318, 360 all bolt up the same on the back. Problem #1 solved. In '93 318 was an option, so stock mounting parts will work, because 318 and 360 bolt up alike. Problem #2 solved. If you think the A500 isn't strong enough, get a 46RE or an A727. The 727 isn't electric, so the install will be simpler. Get one with the same length as the A500, and the front driveshaft yoke, because the output shaft is larger. Problem #3 solved.
Problem #4 is the wiring. I got you this far, you solve #4.

the easiet route is to got with a carbd 360 then you get motor mounts wicvh they sell ive seen them advetised in mopar muscle im not sure if that tranny will work id get a 727 out of a 80s van or truck or 70s car and it will prolly need a custom drive shaft and you have to fing out if you have a speed sensor tranny or the old style cable if its a cable no problem other wise youll be changin speedos my advise would be buy one dakota with a 318 in and replace it with a 360

Check each individual bulb. Sometimes you can tell if a bulb is bad, by the blinker light in the dash blinks real fast. Sometimes they don't' it depends on the make of vehicle. If the bulbs are good, then try checking the wires from lights to the fuse panel then to the turn signal clicker on the column.
