well, seems how you want an ipod hook up, i would suggest going with alpine, because of the simple song selection w/ the ipod then. but everyone has there prefered methood. and for speakers i would suggest going to crutchfield.com and see what they have for your car.
but for the ipod connectivity i would deffinatly go with alpine, but you should go shop around at places like best buy, walmart, and audio stores near you and find something easy for you to use(so your not destracted trying to change the song not paying attention to the road), something that you like the sound of. your best bet it to listen to them, and see how the controlls work befor u buy a new radio.

I've always liked Pioneer stereo's --home or auto. Best Buy or auto stereo shops should carry a good selection or you can check out other products they offer. Just my two cents worth.

The best would be ALPINE. they were the first to have IPOD connectivity. Bit pricy though.
