Your car has a radiator. Without a turbo you cannot use an intercooler. Rather go with a cai. It will help your engine run cooler.

You say you have a r33 GTS-T but you say its not turbo. The T in GTS-T means its turbo. Only forced induction cars use intercoolers. The intercooler has a hot side and cold side. The hotside would have no where to connect to with out a turbo. This is kind of common sense if you think about it. Honestly you could turbo your engine really easily. If you are on a budget, find a used oem rb25 exhaust manifold, find a cheap nissan oem turbo, cheap intercooler, and you pretty much have a quick car. Just do some research beforehand.

No, the intercooler is there to cool the pressurized air from the turbo. If you have no turbo, you have no use for an IC.

Its not easy to add power top this car, because this engine is already very good. you could see some gains from the usual air filter - exhaust - reprogramming ("chip") route, but these are already quite good on this vehicle.

The easiest way to add serious power would probably be either to convert the existing engine to use a turbo at low boost settings, adding 0.4 to 0.5 bars of boost on a deep breathing engine such as this could probably add 50 to 100hp or to retrofit an RB25DET single turbo engine from a similar GTS. With typical upgrades, you would probably double your cuttent engine power. A local guy with such an engine runs 1.1 bars og boost and the car dynos at ~450hp.

Turbo Charger 101 Now class this is a Forced induction device. When air is compressed it heats up because firction and warm air molocules get close to each other. That turbo or supercharger air becomes more dence (NOT STUPID) when it is cooled down with a intercooler. Air to air is what you see the most. More complex is air to water intercooler needs pumps and additional radatatior. Yes intercoolers are for turbo and supercharged cars only. A good cold air device is what your looking for until the need for speed hits you.
