my car wouldnt start after i washed it today. i could also hear a sound coming from the left drivers side dash. I took off the panel and located where the sound is coming from but dont know what to do now. any help is appreciated. i know this is ghetto but i used to drive an old 300diesel mercedes and at one point i had to hit the starter while turning it on to get it to turn over. could i do this with my honda?

the alarm is on and the starter cut is turned on. but someone cut the siren so you can't hear it

Well first off does the car turn over? What kind of sound does it make.

Did you get water on the ignition system dry it out and the switch for the hazards is on the way out replace it.~`

ignition switch or multifunction switch got wet you better tow it in and for a Mercedes it may be alittle expensive

Check fuses.

It's broken. Take it to a mechanic and get it fixed.
