When i bought my car, the temp. display didn't work, the fog lights didnt work, and the antenna worked well, but then gave in. Do you think it's the fuse box, BECAUSE EVERYTHING ELSE WORKS, HEADLIGHTS, INTERIOR LIGHTS, AC/HEAT--EVERYTHING EXCEPT THOSE.... or should I just purchase all these things and replace them? If it is the fuse box, can anyone tell me the proper procedures in how to check and correct this problem within the fuse box, because i have no idea what wires go with what and how they should be joined..Plleeasse, I need help, NOW!

The temp sender is located on the engine block near the thermostat housing, not on the radiator. If you ground the sensor (use a test light) the gage should go to full hot. If sensor wire is connected, but gage not working, sensor may be bad or RADIATOR MAY BE LOW ON WATER!!. Check it.

Make sure checking fog lights with headlights on. Don't think they work without headlights on.

Does antenna make noise when radio turned on and off? If antenna motor making noise, is probably antenna mast assembly. Should hear a motor running for a few seconds when car first turned on or off.

1. the temp display has a exterior temp sensor located by the radiator that tends to either break or the wires come out of it.

2. the fog light bulbs are probably just blown.

3. the antenna mast prob just needs replaced. the cord to extend & retract usually break on older models

There is a loose nut behind the wheel. Seriously, take back for lemon law. Allot of the Millenia's were made here causing vendors to scramble. Now Mazda is one of the best car companies as they learned the lesson to keep building their models in Japan. Love my Rx-8.

Good Luck those are great cars with that Miller Motor. Mazda is always willing to tread in new territory.
