sounds like a bad connection in your hook up somewhere ,,,
check the connectiond in your relay box ,,, pin can come loose there and not allow relay to work properly ,,,,,,
if you are not betting power to the pump you could have a broken wire from the pump to the relay ,,,,,,,
happy hunting ! ! ! ! !

Make sure you're battery is strong and turn the key about 20 times without actually starting the truck. You need to bleed the system and build up pressure with the pre-pump mode. When you turn the key without starting the pump will run about 3 seconds and shut off. You need to do this several times and you'll finally notice the motor trying to turn over. It may take more or less but it will work. Motors never turn over immediately after putting a new pump on. To make sure the pump is working have someone listen near the tank to confirm the pump turns on then off after a few seconds. Once the system is preesrized you'll be good to go.

Bad fuel pressure switch on the engine.

Or, the fuel system is all ready pressurized, and the pump doesn't need to turn on.

Pour a little GOOD fuel into the intake and try to start it that way. It may take a couple times, but it should work and stay running.

you may need to replace the wiring harness coming from the fuel pump.
