None at all the advance is preprogramed in the ECM. Sensors in the back of the engine block will take care of all that and set the timing right where the engine wants it. Remember it was not all that long ago a 2.5 liter engine only made 100 hp. So your next step is call Jim Wolf Technologys and see if he has any up grades reprogramable ECM chip. 175 hp not enough could of had a 3.5 liter V-6.

you shouldnt advance the timing at all from the stock setting. Now everyone is using standalones to change ignition timing. Messing with your timing can seriously damage your engine if you dont know what you are doing. These newer engine are not like old american engines.
