Ok, so I've tried WD40 on the outside, and I crawled into the trunk from the back seet and sprayed the inside. I felt around for the inside release, but didn't find one. The darn lock wont move. What can I do besides going to the dealer to get some high priced charge for opening it?

Did you spray WD 40 directly into the key slot? If not, try that!!

Are you sure that you are using the correct key? I am not trying to be a smart alek, but many keys look alike. If you are using a duplicated key it may have not been cut perfectly, and has worn to a point where it will not work. Try jiggling the key as you try to turn it!!

If that does not work, drive the car to a locksmith and have them replace the lock cylinder. They can key it to your current key.

crawl back into the trunk with a flash light and a flat tip screw driver look for the release and just pry the release back and it is open. or call a lock smith because that will only get it open not repaired. Good luck

Maybe it's not closed ALL the way, and the latch mechanizm hasn't rolled far enough to alow the key to engage the release pin.

Try pushing down, or sitting on the trunk, turning the key then pulling up on the trunk lid.

Short of that, i have no idea......

ADDED: Or try a different key.

On some vehicles, there is no pull release lever, its a small trip lever on the lock itself, look around and try to see if there is something you can press or move with a screwdriver, this should trip the lock open.
