I'm in the process of buying a new car, and wondering if there are more benefits from Aluminum tire rims over Steel. Aluminum wheels cost more, but you'd think that steel would last longer. Are Aluminum wheels just for looks?

Should the rental car call me to their place to show me tha damages of the car or even made a phone call that the car was found and should they give an on the spot estimate or call me on the phone or mailed me a letter regarding the damage of a stolen car? I rented a car the loss of one day i asked my visa insurance to pay it its 56$. SO i told the rental to deal with them abt the 56$. What happened I did not know that they were askin my insurance damages for the car I rented w/c is 545$. I did not receive a letter dat there were damages. Is this acceptable? 4 months after the recovery of the car they sent me a letter stating that my visa did not pay the 545$ and I should pay it. They also sent me a quotation of their company but not the quotation of the vendor were they said they bought the parts. There was is Wheel kit that cost 310. What was that ? Do i have to question them about this and ask them for police report of the damages when the car was found?

There's dealers or services that specializes in helping with it but the point is that I must NOT apply with the wrong dealer because they may send my car loan application to many lenders whose program requirements I do not meet. I know If this happens my score may be lowered and when I am finally approved it may be at a higher rate than I would have received if my car loan application was sent to the right lender in the first place.That's the catch. I know also If my score is less than 600 I must find an automobile dealership or online service that specializes in special credit situations to obtain an auto loan through a bank or traditional finance company.You can give your recommendations as a websites or already tested by your self or your friends sources where I can be more confident to complete the task.

I was at the mall and while pulling in tapped the silver car next to me.. of course the lady was in the car sleeping! The scrape is no thicker then this --------------------------------- and no longer then 2 inches. I gave the girl all my info and she said shed call me with how much she wants me to give her. ( Something about her husband may be able to fix it.) We both prefer not to go through insurace. How much do you think I am going to have to shell out for this? The gauge will raise almost all the way and then once I've been driving for a bit, it will start to slowly go back down. Turning on my heat doesn't seem to really help anything. If my car sits for more than a few seconds, it will start to rise again. I decided to check my radiator but for some reason, neither me or any of the guys I work with could find the radiator cap?? I'm going to have someone look at it next week but if anyone had any ideas of what might be causing it...

I went for my driving test about 2 weeks ago and I failed because they said I dont stop at stop signs properly, which was new to me i thought i did fine...Someone told me you make a stop at the line, then move up till you can see and make a second stop, and then go....Any one who can help me with this is greatly apprciated =)

Does anyone now about the Mercury Montego? i don`t see it on the road that often. i do see it`s cousin the Ford 500 alot. i like the way the Montego looks, i have gone to the dealship when they are closed and looked at the Ford 500 and the Mercury Montego, and i like both of them, they are pretty much the same car. one a ford and the other a mercury. but i find the montego styling more appealing than the 500. but which one would be better to get? and to the montego owners out there or know someone who owns one are they good cars? or would i have better luck with the 500?

Hi... the online toolshop I go to offers 2 sets of hex keys in both Metric and Imperial versions.

First set being imperial: Chrome vanadium. Sizes: 1/16", 5/64", 3/32", 1/8", 5/32", 3/16", 7/32", 1/4", 5/16" & 3/8"

Second set being metric: Chrome vanadium. Sizes: 2, 2.5, 3, 4, 5, 5.5, 6, 7, 8 & 10mm

Sorry if it sounds stupid but measurement stuff was never my strong point.... bombarded by different systems I turned off from it all.

I want to have Hex keys to fit stuff I might need to work with. Would the sizes between imperial and metric be the same or slightly different please. I'd buy both sets if have to.... but ofc if they are the same I'd prefer not to waste money.
