be sure that there is not electrical supply to the clutch when it,s in the off position.......if there is not...then you have a seized clutch......special tool,s are required to remove the clutch.......replace it & recharge the system [add oil charge if nessary].....you must have the correct pressure in your system......if you don,t care about having the system functional...simply unplug the clutch......if it,s seized you must replace the clutch....even if you elect to not recharging the system.......good luck!

Sounds like the clutch assembly is seized to the pulley. You can try to find a belt for your engine without A/C and just bypass the compressor.

If you dont want ac ,,, "short belt it " ,,,, may take a few trys but you can use a shorter belt and not go round the ac compressor ,,, most vehicles have a diagram for routing belts woth or without ac ,,,, also a good parts store should be able to give you the belt number needed in either case
Good luck ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

since the compressor is not shutting off it could be that the switch is not working also on some cars when the defogger is on the compressor will come on and off .if you do not care to use the air conditioner remove the fuse that con troll the air conditioner or have the switch check. good luck

sounds like it incredibly is working commonly. It shouldnt be clutched in completely except the ambient temperature is excessively intense. If the equipment is producing cooler air, its probable ok. If it doesnt take carry of in in any respect, it could want re-gassing.
