I am trying to do some research and once I watched TrueFlow's demonstrations and details, it seems like they have a better filter than K&N.

I have a 1987 Ford Ranger 2.9 L V6. It has 253,000 miles on it. Here's the problem:

Sometimes when I step on the accelerator pedal my car doesn't accelerate. We have replaced about 95% of the parts on this vehicle. We first thought it was a faulty sensor and we soon found out that the computer will only tell us that the sensor is plugged in...not if its working properly. Here's what I have replaced:
Fuel pump (exterior, I have one in the tank that was replaced at 175,000 miles)
Fuel Filter
Spark Plugs
Distributor
Spark Plug cables
Throttle Postion Sensor
Air Charge Temp Sensor
Coolant Temp Sensor
Map Sensor
O2 Sensor
Idle Air Control Sensor
EGR Sensor
Computer
New Engine and Transmission

We think it might be the fuel pressure regulator but we are not sure. When we tested fuel pressure it showed it was normal. Also it likes to do it when the A/C is turned on. The car is getting fuel, I don't know if it's getting the correct mixture or if it's cutting out.

I feel that GM did a huge dis-service to its legacy, stockholders, and to the earth in general by killing a perfectly good platform for change.
I also would hope that C.A.R.B. (and any other equal entitiy) would grow a set of balls and re-instate the mandate that big business fought so hard against.

I hope that someone can explain to me why I should support a business that doesn't support it's customers...

I believe I have a blown fuse and need to change.
My dome light and power lock are not working and I believe that it's a fuse. The front cig lighter was not working but change fuse and now works. I have a 2k max gle. There are 2 fuse box in the engine dept that may also need fuse according to nissan book. The fuses seem to support several electronic but only list one component so it's difficult to tell what fuse is for power locks.
Thank You

I bought a decked out paseo and am finding thinggs out with the car that the guy I bought it from did not know about. Now theres this sticker on the window that says Black widow alarm and there is a red light that lights up when I start the car right beside the clock on the dash. If there is still an alarm system attached to this car would it be somewhere under the hood?

When the 777 was designed it showed a little bit of McDonnell Douglas (MD80 MD11) influence when the blade like tail cone was introduced. The A380 looks to have borrowed that same design with the exception of the aft APU exhaust duct. The blade tail cone was found to produce less drag.

The 787 however seems to lack this inovation.
Any body have a clue why?

The answer to my other question was great, thanks so much KaeZoo.

Anyway, if I go get another radio installed in my Camaro, do I need the unlock code for my radio for the theftlock? I think I understand that you only need the theftlock for the factory radio and that if I remove the factory radio and then put the factory radio back in it'll ask for the code. But I just want to make sure I don't need to enter the code to allow the factory radio to be successfully removed, and a new store bought radio to be successfully installed.

Thanks for the help so much.

Hey all, i have a 1995 Chevy Camaro V-6 3.4L engine... How do you check the coolant level in this car? Or even how do you add coolant? Its not throught the overflow reservoir right that has the measurement stick on it? Or do you add it through the radiator cap? Thanks!!

w/c is better:

let's say, between 9:1 or 18:1

i saw some specs in diesel motors has 18:1
while gas has lower., which one is better?

is this also related with the fuel consumption?
does 18:1 means 18kms per 1 liter of fuel?

pls. advice
