You've got water in the switches or in the fuse box. You need to strip them out and make sure they're completely dry.

Not only that - you need to find out how the water is getting in and stop it!

I had this problem with my golf. After three different garages couldn't figure it out the local VW dealership took it in. After 4 hours looking they finally decided it was the wiring loom in the front passenger door. It would happen whenever the car was parked and if I had locked it up, all the doors would unlock too. Bloody annoying it was. I recommend taking it to the nearest VW garage and get them to check out the wiring looms in all of the doors.

Please check the cylinder in the drivers door lock (key cylinder position) do yoiu lock with remote key or manually in the door lock?? The door lock/lock cylinder has a position which could roll all the windows down at random, due to a fault. Otherwise, i will suggest you visit a dealer for help as there are few electronics involved in such system, a scan tool can pinpoint where the fault could be.Cheers!

Take the batterys out of your remotes and see if that is the problem first. Or some one has a car like yours and is playing tricks on you then reprogram the remotes to the car again rolling code will work it self out.. I had a customer who dog ate her remote and her car acted crazy untill the remote shorted out or sh**ed out

it would be a very good idea to take your car to a garage/dealership and ask them to have a look for electrical problems
