I have a 2006 F-150 with a V6 gas engine (I didn't get the V8 because of gas prices), its a good truck and I like it.
The only thing that I don't like about the is, ther's no diesel option. I know Ford has small 6 cylinder diesel engines, they use them in Vans in europe.
So why don't we have the option in Canada.

I know what people are most likely thinking, If you wanted a diesel you should of got a F-250 or F-350 and the answer is
I don't need a big 6.4L engine why pay for power you don't really need (I need a truck, but I don't need that much truck)

I just got done draining my radiator fluid and filling it back up with new coolant. While bleeding the air out of the radiator lines should the engine be on or off and is heat suppose to be on or off. I'm confused because I loosened the bleeder with the car running and the heat off and air bubbles and fluid kept coming out for a good 5 minutes. I kept waiting for a steady stream of fluid to come out but air continued to bubble out. I've lost a small cup full of coolant from the bleeder valve. What should I do?

I have a '95 Honda Civic VX, D15Z1 VTEC-E engine, 174,000 miles. It runs roughly, acceleration and mileage are poor. A timing light shows that when I snap open the throttle, the timing briefly *retards* about 10-15 degrees, then returns to initial (16 deg BTC) as RPM stabilizes.

Testing on another Honda (same year, diff. model) showed the expected advance. Mine retards.

The timing also does not advance as RPM increases gradually. I see slight variation, 1-2 deg, as I slowly increase RPM, but it always stays around the initial setting. Behavior is same in neutral or top gear (front wheels off ground).

MAP and throttle position sensors test 100% normal. TDC, crank angle, and CYP sensors (in distributor) pass resistance tests. Distributor is original but ignitor and coil have been replaced recently. A different ECU did not solve the problem. This engine does not have a knock sensor.

What could cause "backwards timing" that I haven't checked?

Thanks for the help!

I was wondering like in my picture if the Connector that goes on the EGR postion Sensor that goes to the Egr has like a flow to both hole's.. i think it does.. The tube That went to the egr valve broke off and the red one that goes somewhere else im not sure where is fine but i hooked it up and left the egr valve tube off and just ran a different tube from the sensor to the egr vavle.. i was wondering if there is a flow on the connector that could need it to be hooked up.. if you don't understand take a look at my picture (it's not that good by the way) PLEASE HELP!!! Thank you..

I do not think it's dangerous to coast downhill in neutral, (some people say you have better control and can hit the gas if necessary) but i drive a 4 cylinder and have very little power in 5th gear, if i wanted more, i would have to downshift, if i'm in neutral already, then I am half way there already. Gas mileage while coasting is dependant on terrain, if i travel on a rather hilly terrain, i would normally get around 32 mpg with no coasting, if i coast down hills, on the same road (say it is 50 miles) i get around 60 mpg. I don't get where people say there isn't much difference. My next question is, (well say i'm in 5th gear, going 60..and i'm getting ready to go down a hill, i let off the gas, and the moment i do this, i can pull the stick out of gear and into neutral and not have to put in the clutch, and it does this very smoothly, if the rpms are just right..but i still have to put the clutch in if going back into gear) is this bad on the clutch?

Hi, I'm trying to persuade my mum to buy a Renault Mégane as she's looking for a car. She really loves them and we found a perfect one with cream leather, glass roof etc. but unfortunately the sale fell through. I'm continuing my search but would just like to know what they're like to own. Thanks.

I just got my first bike (Honda VFR750), it's been very well maintained, but some oxidation on the chain is causing it to tick every time it goes by the sprocket. I'm very handy and do all my own work on my cars and I'm going to replace the chain next weekend, but I haven't ever done anything on a bike. Based on the repair manual it doesn't look too hard to do, how hard will it be? Where should I order the chain from (Website or store) and how much should I expect to pay? Do I need anything other than the cutter, chain, lube, and tools?
Thanks a lot guys!!
