When Dirtbiking There Arent Any Age Limits. All the Pros Usually Start Biking At The Age Of 2 1/2 Or 3. You Dont Have To Take Any Classes But For Some People They Really Help. But If You Have A Dual Sport (Meaning Its Street Legal) Then You Have To Have Your M1 (Motorcycle) License. When First Learning To Ride Its Really Helpful To Begin To Ride With Someone Who Knows What They're Doing So They Can Give You Advice And Tell You What To Do. If You Dont Have Any Body To Help You With That Then Maybe Taking A Class Is Best So You Dont Ruin Your Bike. Hope This Helps!!

If the vehicle will be operated on public thoroughfares, (streets, highways, roads), you have to have it registered, inspected and insured. You also have to comply with State motorcycle operating regulations. If the bike never will be on the road, including crossing the street to get to a field or bike track, you don't need anything. These same rules apply to ATV's and other motorized vehicles, such as go-karts. Check www.dmv.org for your local State licensing requirements (including age).

Any age, gender, or race.
No classes.
Just get on and go.
I had a friend who brought his 3 year old riding with us.
A 50cc automatic transmission motorcycle.
Helmet, goggles, gloves, chest protector, MX pants and boots.
The kid rode good and was in heaven!
