I have a small stone chip in my new car's windshield, not a crack though. I want to remove it. Can I use some sort of rubbing compound, or some sort of remedy? Or do I have to take it to an auto glass repair shop?

Hey everyone,

I'm working on replacing the pinion seal on the rear differential of a 1995 Chevrolet Blazer. I made the mistake of not measuring the pre-load torque on the center nut before removal. Does anyone know what this torque setting should be?

Is it true that I can't change the radio and have a new one installed because the stock radio works the security system?

My radio only has a cassette player. I want to get one installed with a cd player and the aux in plug, but my father said that if I take the stock radio out of the camaro, the camaro probably won't even run.

Is this true? I really want to go put a new radio in today.

I drive a Semi for a living and one thing I've noticed over the past couple of months it seems like more and more people tend to drive with their bright lights on. And they won't turn on their low beams even if I flash my brights at them. Has anyone else noticed this as well?

Is it any good? I need a pickup just to haul this 'n that and there is a '91 with 69,000 miles on it I'm considering purchasing. But if it has absolutely no power I probably don't want it because I do want to run up the highway with it.

It would start after alot of kicks and ran strong and has alot of power and torque but would not hold an idle. I pulled the plug and checked for spark(none) bought a new plug kicked it over a thousand times and it never starts. Pulled the new plug and still no spark. I pulled off the stator cover and there was gas inside the casing. I took electrical cleaner spray and cleaned it and still nothing. Should I change the stator?

I had to make a rather harsh sudden brake about a month ago and the ABS light has been on since about then. The car is also pretty difficult to brake and accelerate and shakes a little bit sometimes. It's got about 140,000 miles on it.

Do you think its on its last legs or is this something that can be fixed? And if so, would it be very expensive?

The tyre was 1 and half months old... it is for a Honda VTR 1000 and I do 60 miles a day with a little (15 miles) motorway. I had the tyre repaired with a plug which cost me £50, but I am wondering if I should replace the tyre completely (another £120) or whether this repair will be okay for a while?... this has the potential of costing me a lot of money......

Does anyone have any opinions?

Started the roto-tiller this year with half a tank of old gas mixed with half a tank of fresh. After it was running and warmed up I took the choke off to the run position with the throttle in the high position and the motor pulses up and down continually. The machine was kept in the shop all winter and I did add some fuel treatment to it after it had been run a while. Could it have picked up something in the carburetor or is it something that will work it self out after it has been used for awhile. We have used it for about three hours so far and have started on a fresh tank of fuel with treatment in it also and it is still doing the same thing.
