It won't be too bad, your insurance will go up a fair amount because you have garnerd more points before you got back the points from the first one but one more speeding ticket before the first one times out and you get the points back, you stand a 75 percent chance of having your liscense suspended for six months. If your liscense isn't suspended you'll be spending a few of your weekends in driving school.

Also consider getting rid of the BMW, police love to pick up BMW's and Ferraris and other luxury "fast" cars. And owners have a tendency not to pay attention on how fast they are going.

The above people are right if the first ticket was for reckless driving or going over 100 mph. Automatic 2 year suspension and a fine of $3000.00 in the State where I'm from. I didn't see the 3 points.

Well according to the DVLA website you are likely to get the following:

3-6 points on your licence which if you have had it for less than 2 years will then revert to a provisional licence and you will have to resit your driving test.

A driving ban at the discretion of the magistrates - could be up to 2 years but a friend of mine was banned for only 3 weeks after being caught at 101 on the motorway. It seems likely that you would get more as you were going faster and on a lesser road.

A fine of up to £1000 (seems it can be up to £2500 on a motorway so I'm not sure where the limit would lie for you).

The other answers are right about your insurance too - I guess it is probably a company car - most BMWs are. You could lose your job if you are required to drive to do your job. My friend had to hire a chauffeur for the 3 weeks to keep his!

Sadly it's exactly your behaviour that makes it so expensive to inure young male drivers!

I would strongly suggest that you get some legal advice. It is possible to ask for clemency on the driving ban if it will significantly affect your livelihood but in the unlikely event you avoid the ban can I suggest you trade the car in for 1litre Fiat Punto or something equally slow and grow up!

Definitely 12 months ban and a hefty fine. Driving at that speed you should be banned for life. If you want to driver at those speeds either find a race track or go on the autobahns in Germany.

If you've been driving for less than two years, not only will you get a ban and a fine, but you will also lose your right to be called a qualified driver. You will have your licence taken off you and you will have to reapply for a provisional and take the test again. The points you get for this latest stupid and dangerous stunt will go on the new licence.
And you'll never be able to afford the insurance even if you do pass the test again so bye bye driving career.
Serves you right. You are a potential killer. That strong enough for you???

Wow you really got all of the speed out of that BMW who do you think you are Jackie Stewart? Good luck three speeding charges means your a habitual offender Bicycle time for you if they ever give you the privilege back. Driving is not a right of passage it is important to take the speed to your local car club track or drag strip and stay the speed limit on the roads.

If there grow to be a non everlasting highway paintings sign there's a solid danger that the sign grow to be badly located in one among those way that another piece of signage, highway furnishings or plant grow to be obstructing or in part obstructing the view out of your attitude at a undeniable ingredient. this is fairly not uncommon in such circumstances. If on meditated image you unexpectedly remember that this grow to be the case then you definately've the inspiration of a life like defence. If by the time it is going to courtroom the roadworks have the two finished or the sign has been moved because of the fact of progression and extra progression of the region then it may be confusing for the prosecution to tutor the different. of course they might have the photographic info that grow to be recorded on the fee digital camera, eg, the fee digital camera finding at you, however the appropriate info to this argument is the view out of your attitude eg, you finding (or being prevented from) on the sign. it might desire to be properly worth a attempt. solid success.

Are you mad 119 mph in a diesel !
You will break it.... For high speed runs always use a big lazy v8 or if you are horribly rich as Cad is an Aston ...... But if you wish to travel at these speeds for long periods you can not beat the Veyron Cad has 2 ....... Also to beat the police/tax collectors a good radar detector and jammer ........ Once in court say you hadn't noticed the speed as you were on the phone at the time and reading the paper ........

See that piece of paper blowing over the horizon......Sorry it's your driving licence.

You'll get a ban for sure, it's automatic these days if your above the ton. Sorry, it's just the way it is. With your age they may even make you resit an extended test to get it back.

Banned, fined a huge amount, A hefty increase in your insurance And if you've been driving for less than two years you may have to take a retest.

Next time don't be such a plonker and take it easy.
