My service advisor told me that my cam was welded to the camshaft and that I need to get my receipts for oil changes or services for proof.

Now, is there a good chance my engine will need to be replaced? I have a 04 dodge dakota

OK I am 13 and my parents said if I spend time and learn about cars and how to repair and fix them up for fun they will buy me a FORD MUSTANG!!!

And I am not talking about a junker, I already picked out a :

2003 Mustang red convertable :
has 55,000 mi.
6 cylinder engine
leather seats

And what I want to know is if there is any good books or sites out there that tell you about cars ( many ford cars ) and parts and how to repair them and stuff like that. OR if you have any info that you know tell me!!!

If car is seldom used, how to keep the battery strong?

The car is kept outside, not in a garage in N.C. Only driven about 4 miles a week normally. Honda 1988 less than 90K.

1997 Ford contour, spark plugs were changed, fuel filter was changed thinking it may have been the problem. Battery is not dead and it has gas. Possibly the distributor cap ?? Need help or I will have to fly tomorrow!!!LOL

I know that we can do trial by written declaration for a CA speeding ticket. I really want to fight this because I was caught going 65 in a 55 zone, which I think is quite reasonable. Additionally, the ticket and the local KY DA office does not know if I need the ticket will be report to the CA DMV. So, is traffic school needed for out-of-state tickets?

I want to buy a Nissan Altima, and the standard brakes are 4 wheel disc brakes. When you get into the higher models, it goes with ABS brakes. Please help explaining the difference, because I cannot find any information on the internet!!
