It would start after alot of kicks and ran strong and has alot of power and torque but would not hold an idle. I pulled the plug and checked for spark(none) bought a new plug kicked it over a thousand times and it never starts. Pulled the new plug and still no spark. I pulled off the stator cover and there was gas inside the casing. I took electrical cleaner spray and cleaned it and still nothing. Should I change the stator?

The gas in the cover could have damaged the pulse generator.
That part is not sold separately.
The entire stator has to be bought.
There's a simple electrical test to check if it works.
I don't have the specs.
You'll need a shop manual for that.
A shop manual is cheaper than the stator and you don't even know if that's the problem.
Purchase a shop manual before you start wasting money changing parts that still work.
