Or did I buy the wrong thing?
This might be a dumb question, so hang in there. He is always working on his cars, a newer dodge neon and an old saturn. I bought a Craftsman 3 ton hydraulic jack, that is subtitled a SUV jack. He can still use it for his vehicles, the 3 ton SUV is just an example of how large a vehicle it can support, right? Or should I make an exchange?
Thanks for your help.

I drive a 95 Dodge Intrepid. I was driving for about 45 mins when i stopped at a light and my car just completely shut off. I tried to start it back up but the engine wont turn over. I makes the sound of a dead battery but can that be it? Could it be fuel related?

It is basically a "one owner" car, has been serviced regularly and had any issues repaired, and highway miles are good for a car, right? At the usual 12K miles expected per year, a 2006 bought in late 2005 with 16K would be fairly normal, right? Hey Dodge Man, if you see this, I added you to my contacts and want you to know I am talking about buying a 2006 Dodge Magnum. I do alllow e-mail.

I have a 1993 Infiniti J30, i just recently got it from my brother. I finally got it to start and i drove it around the block and came back home. I turned it off and tried to start it again and it wouldn't start. Then i remembered my brother saying something about it overheating and when it gets to hot it will shut the whole car down. And when it cools down the car will start again. And when i look inside to see if the hot or cold thermostat is going up it's fine, regular temperature. So if anyone can give me good advise i would really appreciate it.
Thanks!!!!

Service engine code reading for egr valve so i replaced it. Code went away but at minimal throttle the motor cuts out really bad. Almost dies. Disconnected the vaccuum line to the valve and truck runs fine but service engine soon light comes back on. Is the new valve bad or is there something else i should check?

Only the high beam would work on the left headlight, so I replaced both..just in case the other would burn out soon. But now the left headlight is dimmer than the right; on low and high beam. Not sure if this is related, but I do have "LIGHTS" on my instrument panel that is on all the time, but I had this before I had the problem with the headlights - I had a burned out tail/brake light in the rear, I replaced bulb, but the LIGHTS indication stilll appears.

Thanks for help and suggestions.

In less than a year I am turning 18, and might be getting a new car for my birthday. I've been really looking at the Subaru WRX TR Sedan, because the STi is way too expensive. But I have also been looking at the VW GTI. There stats seem pretty much the same except the WRX TR has 24 more HP. In your opinion, what is the better car?

I cannot figure out what it can be. the car makes a semi hollow noise coming from the front near the engine. when i first start the car after sitting overnight huge exaust fumes come out. I have stick. the clutch makes more noise as well. and also when the clutch is in the hollow noise is not as bad as when I am on the clutch. I am thinking either the catalytic converter, clutch, or exhaust? any suggests before I bring it in the shop to get looked at?

you know that all cars thats made overcease from USA is more better manufactured and everything...but Japanese cars seems like its just alot of snap on parts thats snapped on well done..but is cheap and can break easily from manhandling. But German cars(Mercedes) seems to be more tougher than Japanese cars..like built with heavy duty parts. Why does it seems like Mercedes is just alays a foot step higher than Lexus

I am driving a 2000 Honda Civic and I was just wondering if it is possible for individual lights on the dashboard to burn out. (ie do they all have their own indivdual light) I've never seen the inside of a dash, and my gas tank has been on "E" for a long time. I am just wondering if the gas light is burnt out.
