Hi, the other day I notice my engine was low in oil, kinda below the low mark, so I fill the motor up with 1 quart of motor oil. ----l

So, should I just leave it be, I've been reading alot of post, they all recommend totally draining out the motor oil. Thanks.

first off, overfilling will not cause damage to bearings and such, but it can cause failure of a main seal when it is that extreme. with out actually seeing the dipstick, a can not tell how far over full you are, but here it goes.... between the full and low mark represents 1 quart. keep that same distance in mind and judge how far over full you are. if you are only half a quart don't worry, 1 full quart, well don't race, 2 quarts, drain a little bit (pull the plug on a cold engine count to about t 45 then re-install the plug and Check the level.

u should drain the motor and put the proper amount of oil in it because it could do damage to your rod and main bearings being over full

no, just change it like you usually do. A little more oil wont hurt anything
