No. We aren't talking about a classic here - this is a high mile car that is several years old. This car has (I think) either a ford 4.6 or a 5.0 engine. Both of those are good engines and something else on the car will break and cost more than the car is worth to repair before the engine dies.

If is not burning oil it will not be a problem,use the same grade in synthetic as it calls for in fossil fuel.I have used synthetic oil in all of my vehicles without any prblems

Synthetic oil is always a good idea. Amsoil is the best that you can get. Drive on my freind, drive on!

listen to mr no and mark. it will cause most (if not all ) of your oil seals to leak. i was warned, didnt listen and learned the hard way.
