If people think God rides a Harley, than thats ok they have their faith. However, if you believe in evolution, does this mean that in comparative terms, that the design of the Harley is still swinging in the tree's with the apes, while the rest of the world has moved on?

Geico assigned a wacko adjuster to me who is either real brilliant or extremely stupid. She decided to reopen an investigation that she had resolved and approved my payment.
The only reason they asssigned this woman is because my insurance is less than 55 days old.
Does this sound right?
She has kept me waiting disclosed all of her personal life and retreived info from my previous insurance carrier without my approval.
I feel she is overdoing it with my claim.
What rights do I have and how far can they go??

Today I got in a car accident, however, the situation is very unique. When I was driving, the stoplight turned green, and then the car in front of me suddenly stopped and I rear ended him, however, as we were exchanging information, I discovered his insurance was expired. If anyone has been in this sort of situation before, Do you know what the best course of action for me would be? Should I settle it without involving the insurance companies? Or should I bring insurance in?

It seems when I press the brakes on my car I now hear a loud noise that almost sounds like thunder, I'm wondering if this is the brakes or what? The car still stops when I press the brake but not as easily as other cars I've driven without this noise.

you move your foot and accidently knock all 4 wheel nuts down a deep drain gully. You try to open up the gully cover but its too hard to move.

So now your left at your car at night, far from home, no mobile/cell phone.... with the punctured tyre you've just removed.. and the spare you've put on... but no tyre nuts to secure the wheel.

What would you do ?

Recently bought an elantra 03 with low miles (43k) and despite the claim that they should get 28-33mpg im getting maybe 19-20 and these are the majority highway miles. Really dissapointed and not sure if this is normal. Took car to dealer (car under warranty still) and mentioned this to which they stated this was normal and my car checks out fine. Also said it might be my driving style...(its not) or the type of gas I put in (been going to the same gas station for years). These all sound like bs answers they are giving me instead of actually looking at what I think is the culprit. The catalytic converter (see other questions) But before I jump to conclusions...wanted to see what other Hyundai elantra 03 owners are getting. Thanks.

I have a 1988 Volvo 740 Turbo living in Arizona. I'm preparing for another globalwarming summer and would like to know if anyone can provide tips on how to keep this Swedish heat hating car cooler during the hot summer months. The car's cooling system doesn't seem to be able to keep the engine cool enough and it will shut itself off to prevent overheating. With the turbo option it also absolutely needs to not overheat or it will damage the expensive tubro components. Any feedback is welcome. Comments on Nordic cars living outside thier normal domains?

Hello. I recently tried to fix the door ajar light and alarm on my 1998 Ford Explorer. I tried some remedies including pulling out the fuse for the charm. Although the noise went away, I could not use the speedo. I returned the fuse to its proper place and now the battery is being discharged. I had the alternator and Voltage Regulator tested and they both were fine. I swapped the regulator but it is still discharging the batter. Any suggestions anyone?

I'm looking at a few 2001 through 2003 3 series and I heard the auto transmission for these cars (this particular generation) is troublesome. Is this true? Should I stick to the MT?

Also, is the 2001 more prone to problems compared to the rest of the production years for the E46?
