While it may look like there's a small panel around the radio and climate controls, the entire larger dash panel needs to be removed including the vent covers on either side. Start by locating and removing one screw below the passenger side vent, to the right of the radio. You must also remove the knee panel below the steering column; there's two screws at the bottom then it just pulls off. After that you can just pull off the main dash panel, starting at the top. The radio is held in with four screws underneath.
