headlights are dull and really cant see at nite,shops can do it but they want 55.00 a light.......help, ill try anything, but cleaning them wont do it

That's cheap Ford for you. They make the lens out of Plastic that yellows and you get to replace them all in a couple of years. At least it's not a Honda. Considering how proud they are of there crappy parts it would probably cost you three times that,

If you can find a product at the auto parts store,called "FLITZ" its a polisher with this orange foam ball that works real good.....and the cheap way is salt and isoprople alcohol whiped easy across the head light, if inside pour in salt and alcohol swirl around till clean, works ok not great but gets job done........

yeah that sh** sucks huh? I've had to replace my headlights a couple of times...never figured out how to rejevunate them though...if you got a sweet mustang, just spring for it! But if you totally can't see at night you should probably replace them also.

Use M.D. wholesale's New Lite Headlight cleaner and repair kit (go to www.mdwholesale.com).

No I dont work for them, I just know it works rather well.

Use a buffer wheel like for waxing a car and use Flitz metal cleaner paste. It will do a great job and it is cheap.

try using tooth paste if the lens is plastic it seems to work well
use crest paste
