reason i ask, is i have a new 3.5 horse johnson i use on my scull boat for duck hunting...where i go, there is a lot of algea, duck weed, etc, and it gets sucked into my intake screens often..i have to stop the boat, pull the motor, and clean the screens..i see guys in the area with larger boats and motors and never see them having problems,,,i am looking at the yamaha motor but don't want the same problems..does it have something to do with the horsepower, ..the larger boats go where i do, so what can it be.?

I am a bus driver from South Wales and I am amazed by the amount of OAPs who moan at me when I ask to see their free travel pass. I mean, all they have to do is show me a small piece of plastic and they can get on for nothing but they complain and moan when you ask to see it. WHY?????

My 1998 automatic Olds van suddenly would not go into park so I put it in nuetral to turn the engine off and now it wont start. Had the battery jumped and the tow truck driver said the battery seems fine but the van still wont start.

I took the car in to the dealer and they mentioned to me that the brakes were worn out to 3mm in the front and 2mm in the rear. They told me that they start out at 9mm. I don't hear any squealing yet, just feel a bit of a wobble. Is it necessary to change the brakes immediately or can I put it off for a month? I put less than 1000 miles on it each month. Too bad the car isn't paid off yet - it would be easy to go ahead and do the service!

Tempature guage shows normal. How is that posible? If there is no anti freeze or water would the car run hot?

My dad happened to stratch off the paint of a car ( front and back door). My dad is gonna pay 1200 to the owner of the other car to fix it...they have agreed on it. I wanna know if there's any way i can write a letter explaining that such agreement has been made..and the owner of the car has no right to claim more money in the future. What do you recommend i should write a letter for such agreement.
