NO!

The 65 series tires are way too tall. You will have major driveability problems.

Stay with the Original Equipment size tire.

205/50R15=23.06" overall diameter
205/65R15=25.50" overall diameter
That is 2.44" taller. The tires will rub in the wheel well.

The 50 or 65 or whatever is the aspect ratio of height to width, expressed as a percentage (50% of 205mm, 65%, etc.).

Analogy: if you wear size 9 shoes, you can fit into a size 12, but it is not a very comfortable walk.

Thats a major difference, the tire is way too tall and it will look bad on there. Dont put that tire on there b/c the diameter is much larger and will affect your speedometer/handling characteristics. The tire will flex all over the place and will feel mushy, winter or summer, they are too big. not a good idea!

That's a pretty big jump in size. You might have to worry about the tires hitting the car when you bottom out the suspension or make a sharp turn.

I would not recommend doing that. The "65" and "50" are the heighth of the tire. The tire will not properly fit the rim. If you do put them on, it could cause an accident.

yes, you could.........but the speed and gas mileage might change...................always put the factory specified tires on.
