Bought a low-mileage convertible Z28 with LS1 that is "fairly" fast. I drive it like it's a 4-cylinder. Previously had L98 "Iroc" when I was younger that I thought was fast but wasn't. Just wore everything out (trans, tires, rear end) trying to go fast and wasted a lot of gas, getting tickets. I know now that if I floor my present car all the time I'll do the same. So I have to ask what good it is to have a fast car? Can't use the speed or you'll tear it up sooner, eventually.

How do you change the time on an S500 Mercedes Benz?

The vehicle is a 2001 Mercedes S500. The annoying problem; how do change the clock (time) that is diplayed on the instrument cluster. I am sure it's something simple, but then again it is a Mercedes.

94 Chevy Beretta my under body is bent. Is it totaled?

While someone was working on my car a car stand got jamed up under it. Causing a large dent and crease in the passenger side floor board. the dent has since been beat out with a hammer but the crease remains. The damage is about 1 inch from whear my suspinsion is attached to the body. Since the damage occured my transmission is starting to slipp. The right wheal feels and sounds as if the wheal bearing is going out. Is this a conicendence or can the problems with the transmission & wheal.Be caused from the underbody being dented with a 6 inch shallow crease? (It is a unibody )

1997 Jeep lights?

I have a 1997 Jeep Cherokee Sport and the "backup" lights don't turn on when I put the transmission in reverse. I heard there is a switch that controls this...my question is: where is this switch at and how do I get to it? Thanks!

Are the impounds allowed to charge you storage fee for impounded vehicles without you knowing?

I got into a motorcycle accident, was off work for a while, couldnt make payments, loan company impounded my bike, after i caught up with them and paid them off including $325 impound fee, they gave me the phone number of the impound place to arrange pick up, to find out that those bastards want to charge me $50 fee PLUS $10 PER DAY which has been there for 3 months, they called it storage fee, and they wont let me pick up on Friday Saturday or Sunday cause they are closed, yet they are charging me storage fee for these days. Can I sue them for this? i am not paying them 1000$ to get my bike, not to mention my bike is wrecked and i cannot ride it, so i have to get a truck to tow it back, they just snatched it from my carport when i was away. What are my options?

How do you turn off the brake light on a 1997 Nissan Altima?

My brake light stays on when I turn on my car... no the emergency brake is not on. The light just wont turn off. I don't know why. Anyone know why and how I can get it to turn off?

1992 Buick Lesabre stalling problem?

My 1992 Buick Lesabre started stalling on me periodically the other day when idling. It starts up ok after stalling and the "check engine soon" light comes on every now and then. I checked the computer codes and I got code 34. At first thought it was my MAF, but now I am not sure. Yesterday as I was driving I used the power windows to roll up my window and the car absolutely went dead on me (no electic power at all). I know the battery connectors corrode quite quickly in this car, (I cleaned them about 2 weeks before) and after jiggling them I was able to restore power to the car and keep driving. Could my car's idling problems, stalling and code 34 be related to bad battery terminals? Also, at around the same time I realized that my car no longer pumps out any heat from the heater, (the fan works but no heat!). Could all this stuff be related to a bad battery connection, or do you think it is the MAF. (P.S I have cleaned the MAF but it didnt do anything).

Help, my toyota rv4 '02, needs new tranni, per the mecanic! says when shifting the cluch scrapes something and

there metal scrapings inside the oil! is this posible ? I have automatic transmision. I am a girl and they can tell me anything because all I know about cars is how to wash & drive them. (I dont have anybody to help me)he says it'll be about $2000- not on warranty anymore! what are your guys suggestions?please...

MY spark plugs are stuck !!?

my spark plugs wont budge when i try and unscrew them, i have allowed the engine to heat up to normal temp then while its still warm tired to remove them, but they didnt budge ive tried to heat it up with a blow torch then tried to loosen them, still no luck, the plugs nut isnt mangled its in perfect condiction so my tool wont slip

does any one have any suggestions on what i could do next to remove them safely, thanks

What could be causing a '98 XJ8 to stall at idle?

Every once in a while, without warning, the vehicle will stall. This only occurs at idle, such as at a stop sign, etc. Any guesses?
