What kind of vibration?

The truck should still be in warranty and I don't think the transmission is in need of a fluid service yet...

Ford has had some issues with driveline vibration and has issued bulletins on these trucks due to it.... Most of the time it involves shimming the rear end at the springs to correct a driveline angle problem.

Bring it back to the dealer and tell them what you have and what's going on.. they may be able to help

if you have this vibration just before the truck shifts out of overdrive . it usually can be felt when you are going up hill and the engine starts to have a load on it (too high a gear for the engine speed) and your vibration starts then it shifts down and its gone. I had this same problem on my explorer the dealer was convinced it was engine vibration but i was not It is torque converter shudder. If it were engine vibration it would do it in any gear a specific rpm. A possible fix is to have your tranny flushed. it worked for me for a while I used Amsoil tranny fluid and managed to put 145000 on the tranny and it started at 75000. I have changed the converter and It went away I'm now at 198000 on my 2000 explorer. and still goin make sure the tranny filter gets changed i don't care what they tell you about the flush.

An Amsoil or Mobil 1 flush can definitely help a lot.

try bypassing trans cooler with rubber line & clamps. drive 2-3 miles. better? bypass it and install auxillery cooler.the one in radiator can & will get plugged up, reducing fluid pressure. flushing won't clean it good enough.
