I was late on my payment last month which put me over the credit limit on my credit card and my minimum payment this month is now $200.00! Crazy... I know, but I have another card with nothing on it. Should I transfer the balance of my over limit card to the other one so that I wont be charget all of those extra fees? Also will I even be able to transfer the balance, since I owe money and it is over the limit already? Do I have to pay first? thanks to all of your answers in advance...

I have one card. But I want a larger limit. Should I apply for another with a larger limit, or can I do it with this itself? How do I go about it. If someone can shed some light...would be appreciated.

Their brochure mentions "customized savings plan" and says generally they have average settlement of approx. 35% of balances owed. This outfit has an "Inc." and does charge fee according to debt amount. About how much? Anyone know??? If someone could better explain this I'd know whether or not this is my best way of getting out of debt. I've posted b4, saying I've very good credit. How would a "settlement" process affect my good credit? Would it lower my score (735)? I'm a renter with 4 ccards-three of which carry High APRs. I'm thinking about using my credit union for a lower interest loan to pay off these cards. Anybody have suggestions. I'm a disabled senior living on m'socialsec and want to get my debt down or gone. Anybody??? I don't quite understand this "savings plan"...Would I save in my own personal account and not with them? I don't think I'd be comfortable sending them money to save for me. Who has had any experience with this type outfit??? Thanks in advance; you're all gr8

I'm looking for a credit card. I don't want one that will start me with a low interest rate and then automatically jump it to a high rate just so that they can get money off of me, even if I am paying the balances. I'm a student and not too familiar with all the credit options. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks

Not paying a credit card bill on time (but still paying within a week or so for instance) or other similar "minor offenses", such as spending more than my allowed limit on my credit card, decrease our credit score although no notes are written to that effect in the report.

I was just wondering how long it takes for suchs events to be removed from a credit report (ie.: when the points lost for paying a CC bill a few days late will be "returned") ?

I'm sure you all know you can pay with a credit or debit card without having to go inside the gas station. I heard there are security risks doing that. I heard somebody can stick an instrument in the slot where you put the card in, and that instrument can charge a lot of money on your card. Is this true? Is there anything to look for when you pay outside at the gas station to avoid this?

My son and his ex-roommate have been turned over to a collection agency for terminating their apartment lease early. My son is willing to pay for half of the debt since the lease was in both their names, but the collection agency is insisting that he pay the full amount since they haven't been able to collect from the other boy. Also, they refuse to work out a reasonable payment plan. They want him to pay $400 a month and have threatened to garnish his wages. He's only 20 yrs old with no assets and can't afford that much. Can they force him to pay for all of it on their terms?

I want to get one.
But before I do, has anyone ever use them successfully on PAYPAL.
I heard that some people try to scam PAYPAL with those cards.
I heard that they might not work on PAYPAL.
Which one is it?
THANKS

i have a credit card for about over a year and when i first got a this credit i was ignorant about it..let alone i could not get apporved for a CC for variou reasons/ when i got thsi card and was acceoted i was happy enough to keep it. over a yr later i learned more about CC and apr and fees and basicly this specific card has a very small limit and i get charged nearly 20.00 extra per month. i want to cancel it and pay off the fees. do others pay this much extra a month? cancelation a good idea? and would it be better to dump the charges on a better card? thanks

How long did it take them?

I have just returned to the country after working overseas and gotten my credit report. It is awful. There are mistakes and perhaps a few things that are correct. All were based on emergency surgery I had with no health insurance. My story may be worse than some and better than others. Regardless, I need help getting it corrected. I know that there are many companies out there, some that are good and some that are not. I am hoping there are some individuals who can guide me towards the good ones. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I am in need of a small personal loan for $6000 to help pay off some bills and help my family move. I do have bad credit and have tried all different websites, even prosper.com, and they would not help me, and were kinda rude about it. So I need to know if anyone has any ideas on how I can get this loan, and I need it fast, like in a week or so. Thanks!!
