I want to get one.
But before I do, has anyone ever use them successfully on PAYPAL.
I heard that some people try to scam PAYPAL with those cards.
I heard that they might not work on PAYPAL.
Which one is it?
THANKS

Yes, they work with PayPal, but be very careful as Green Dot will also charge a monthly "maintanance fee" on any balance, even if the remaining balance is zero. I had a bad experience with "Free And Clear", one of the Green Dot companies, several months ago, not so free, and not so clear as even the fine print dictated that a balance of zero would not incur a monthly maintanance surcharge. I went to use the card again a few months later for an additional purchase when I had reloaded money onto it, and was short the maintanance fee of one month. I complained vigourously about this on the phone and ultimately got nowhere and had to ask them to write me a check for the entire stored value on the card (I was out my reload fee as well as the maintanance fee they had charged to my card). Several months later and with much work on my part, I've been paying bills on time and now have a regular credit card with no monthly maintanance fees of any kind. It really is a much better deal, and I'd encourage you to strive for that instead. Green Dot did work for me in a pinch though at a time I was not willing or able to take on ANY credit obligations as I was working with a credit counseling agency (did wonders for me by the way, and highly reccommended, American Consumer Credit Counseling http://www.consumercredit.com ), but I would never use Green Dot again now that I don't need to.

I would suggest signing up with NetSpend. I have one and I sell on Ebay. When I get paid from Ebay sales...I just transfer the money over to my Netspend card and I have a debit card loaded with money...takes about 2 days for it to post. Check out Netspend's website
