I do not keep financial records for 16 years. I have moved often and do not even know the bank I used to write a check to pay the bill. Is there a statute of limitations on bills?

A credit card company sent me a letter agreeing to accept a reduced amount as payment in full for credit card charges. I called them and we discussed the terms. After thinking about it, I decided I should get the new terms in writing from them before I started making the payments. Well, they refuse to send me the terms until they set up the payment account (my bank account # for drafting). So now we are at a standoff. Is there a law that requires them to provide the specific agreement in writing?

pay their credit card bills cuz the credit card people were ripping us off. I was driving and couldn't write the phone # down. It started with 1-800-900 and that's all I got. Haven't heard it anymore. Anybody out there know about this???
I believe pay what you owe, but if I'm getting ripped off I'd like to save a few bucks if I can.

I decided to go ahead and cancel my account with FCR, so after drudging through their website to find a way to do this, I finally found the number you're supposed to call tucked away in a very small F.A.Q. link at the bottom of the page.

Well, I called that number, and the lady there seemed very nice, but also very hard to understand. Anyway, she said something about having "something free for me if I check into my account today." I had to have her repeat it, and she did a few times until finally, I caught the words "we'll keep you're account open so you can, you can just call back later to cancel."

I had to tell her, "I'm sorry, I don't want it. Just cancel my account." I had to tell her this three times, and she kept doing her spiel.

Finally after the third time, she whined, "Why don't you want this free offer sir?" I said, "Because I just don't. Cancel my account." Finally she agreed to cancel it outright.

Anyone else have this problem with them?

I accidently missed my credit card payment by one day, and now I've noticed that my monthly minimum has gone up (alot too). I know this is bad for your credit, really bad. So what should I do, should I cancel this card? How long will that late payment be on my credit history? And also is it going to affect me THAT much? I've read mixed answers so I turn to you fine folks.

I have a credit card that started out with a $500.00 limit. I used it and payed over the minimum (All on time-CURRENT) for a few months and now after it being almost a year it is up to $750.00 limit.
I also have an auto loan with Wells Fargo Financial. I've been making payments on that for over a year. (All on time-CURRENT)

I WANT TO KNOW HOW I FIGURE OUT IF THESE COMPANIES ARE REPORTING MY ON TIME PAYMENTS TO BE SEEN ON MY CREDIT REPORT. AND WHO MUST THEY BE REPORTED TO?

I am 19... My fico score is 197. I have been paying ontime but I don't think Wells Fargo Financial is reporting my current payments.

Hi
I have some confusion about the billing address for a credit card. I want to know does billing address have anything to do with payment of my merchandise ? In another words, does the seller or whoever I buy from , does they use the billing addres to get their money for the merchandises I bought ? Or this billing address is just a place where the bill will go to .
Please anyone who have a certain information about this matter answer . and thank you .

The data values collected in the study appear to be normally distributed with a mean of 25 charged purchases and a standard deviation of 2 charged purchases. Out of the total number of cardholders, about how many would you expect are charging 27 or more purchases in this study?. 94.8%, 47.8%, 68.3%. or 15.9%

My Fiance has a credit card in her name, I also have the same card, but I am not the primary card holder. Is it possible for me to sign up for a credit card and transfer the balance of the other card to it, or does she have to be the one who is the primary card holder on the new card for the balance transfer to work?
